TO SENATE BILL 10

SB10-SSA1,1,2 1An Act relating to: creation of an advisory group to propose options for a
2wetland area in Brown County.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB10-SSA1, s. 1 3Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.
SB10-SSA1,1,84 (1) The department of natural resources shall form an advisory group to
5evaluate options associated with the proposed commercial development that was the
6subject of a "Notice of Water Quality Certification" letter issued by the department,
7Docket #IP-NE-2010-5-01621, dated July 15, 2010, that applies to a wetland area
8in Brown County. The advisory group shall include all the following members:
SB10-SSA1,1,99 (a) The secretary of the department of natural resources or his or her designee.
SB10-SSA1,1,1010 (b) The mayor of the city of Green Bay or his or her designee.
SB10-SSA1,1,1111 (c) The president of the village of Ashwaubenon or his or her designee.

1(d) Two members of the senate, one a member of the majority party and one a
2member of the minority party, who are appointed as are the members of senate
3standing committees, or their designees.
SB10-SSA1,2,64 (e) Two members of the assembly, one a member of the majority party and one
5a member of the minority party, who are appointed as are the members of assembly
6standing committees, or their designees.
SB10-SSA1,2,87 (f) The person who applied for the water quality certification or his or her
8designee.
SB10-SSA1,2,109 (g) The president of the executive committee of the Green Bay Packers or his
10or her designee.
SB10-SSA1,2,1211 (h) The executive director of the Wisconsin Wetlands Association or his or her
12designee.
SB10-SSA1,2,1813 (2) The advisory group shall develop recommendations, legislative or
14otherwise, that satisfy all of the members of the advisory group with respect to how
15the proposed commercial development should proceed. The advisory group shall
16submit a report of its recommendations to the governor, the assembly committee on
17natural resources and the senate committee on natural resources and environment
18no later than 14 days after the effective date of this subsection.
