Dear Chief Clerk Fuller:
I am writing today regarding my vote on SS AB 11, which you remember came up for a vote in the early morning hours on Friday, February 25th, 2011.
The manner in which the roll call vote was abruptly opened and then immediately closed left much to be desired. Consequently, I was denied the right to vote as well as the opportunity to represent my constituents.
If I had been afforded the chance to record my vote, I would have voted to oppose SS AB 11. Hence, I respectfully request that the official record be amended to reflect this fact.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Leon D. Young
State Representative
16th Assembly District

I was in my seat in the Assembly Chamber when the vote took place. However, I was denied the right to vote and to represent my constituents. I would have voted to oppose SS AB 11 were I allowed to vote. I would like the record to reflect this fact.
Thank you.
