2to instruct pupils about Veterans' Day and the contributions and sacrifices of

Current law requires each school board to provide an instructional program
designed to give pupils, among other things, a commitment to the basic values of
American government, including the proper respect for and the history and meaning
of the American flag, the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the
Wisconsin Constitution and laws. This bill requires each instructional program to
give pupils, in addition, the proper respect for Veterans' Day and for the
contributions and sacrifices of veterans.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
