SB276,1,1 1An Act relating to: the sale of White Mound County Park to Sauk County.

This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to cede, grant, and
convey all rights, title, and interest in White Mound County Park to Sauk County
upon payment of $1 by the county, on the condition that the property be used by the
county for recreational purposes. The bill provides that, if the county does not use
the property for recreational purposes, all rights, title, and interest in the park revert
to the state. Under the bill, this transaction is not subject to the approval of the
Natural Resources Board.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB276,1 2Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.
SB276,2,33 (1) No later than 60 days after the effective date of this subsection and upon
4payment by Sauk County of $1, the department of natural resources, acting on behalf
5of the state of Wisconsin, shall cede, grant, and convey all rights, title, and interest
6in White Mound County Park to Sauk County, on the condition that the property be
7used by the county for recreational purposes. If Sauk County does not use White

1Mound County Park for recreational purposes, all rights, title, and interest in the
2park revert to the state. This transaction is not subject to the approval of the natural
3resources board.
