AJR81,1,1 1Relating to: the distinguished life of former representative Mickey Lehman.
AJR81,1,42 Whereas, Michael (Mickey) A. Lehman was born on April 24, 1943, in Rice
3Lake, Wisconsin, to Ansel and Lorraine Lehman and died on August 7, 2017, with
4family at his side; and
AJR81,1,65 Whereas, Lehman served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for 16 years,
6representing both the 58th and the 99th assembly districts; and
AJR81,1,107 Whereas, Lehman's service in the community extended from the Hartford
8Chamber of Commerce to the Department of Revenue as the Administrator of State
9and Local Affairs, as well as the Miller Park Stadium Board, where he served for 12
10years; and
AJR81,1,1211 Whereas, during his time in the legislature, Lehman devoted his time to tax
12reform and business development; and
AJR81,2,213 Whereas, in 1998 and 2000, Lehman was awarded the Working for Wisconsin
14Award, presented to those legislators who support initiatives that better Wisconsin's

1economic climate, one of the many accolades Lehman received during his lifetime;
2and
AJR81,2,53 Whereas, Lehman's dedication to community and family will endure as an
4inspiration for true Wisconsin values, values which continue to move the state
5forward; and
AJR81,2,86 Whereas, Lehman is survived by his wife Pamela, children DeAnn, David, and
7Darcy, stepchildren Bryanna and Brennan, and grandchildren Kyle, Brianna, Kya,
8and Malia; now, therefore, be it
AJR81,2,12 9Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
10legislature honors the life of Mickey Lehman, a loving father, husband, and
11cherished member of the community, and extends its sincere sympathies to his
12family and friends; and, be it further
AJR81,2,14 13Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
14resolution to Mickey Lehman's family.
