1An Act to create 79.05 (7) (c) of the statutes;
relating to: increasing the
2expenditure restraint program payment for the city of Cudahy.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases the 2018 expenditure restraint program payment to the city
of Cudahy by $342,000. A municipality is eligible for an expenditure restraint
program payment if its tax levy rate is greater than five mills and if the increase in
its municipal budget from the previous year is less than the sum of inflation and 60
percent of the municipality's equalized property values due to new construction, less
improvements removed from the tax roll.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 79.05 (7) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

(7) (c) For the distribution in 2018, the annual payment under this
5section to the city of Cudahy shall be the amount otherwise determined for the city
6under this section, plus $342,000.
