SB8,1,2 1An Act to create 27.01 (18) of the statutes; relating to: alcohol sale, possession,
2and consumption at Peninsula State Park.

Under rules promulgated by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), a
person may not possess or consume alcohol beverages on a golf course or clubhouse
in Peninsula State Park. This bill requires DNR to allow a person with whom it
contracts for the operation of a golf course or clubhouse in Peninsula State Park to
sell alcohol beverages on the golf course or at the clubhouse and to allow others to
possess and consume those alcohol beverages on the golf course or at the clubhouse.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB8,1 3Section 1. 27.01 (18) of the statutes is created to read:
SB8,2,44 27.01 (18) Alcohol sales in Peninsula State Park. The department shall
5allow a person with whom it contracts for the operation of a golf course or a golf
6clubhouse in Peninsula State Park to sell alcohol beverages on the golf course or in
7the golf clubhouse and shall allow users of the golf course or golf clubhouse who are

1at least 21 years of age to possess and consume those alcohol beverages. In the
2contract described under this subsection, the department may impose restrictions on
3the sale of alcohol beverages that are consistent with the restrictions imposed upon
4Class "B" licensees and "Class B" licensees under chapter 125.
