SB670,1,2 1An Act relating to: the Specialized Transportation Assistance Program in the
2Department of Transportation and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the Department of Transportation (DOT) administers the
Specialized Transportation Assistance Program (program) under which DOT
distributes aids to counties to be used for providing transportation services to elderly
and disabled persons.
This bill increases funding for the program in each fiscal year of the 2013-15
fiscal biennium.

printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB670,1 3Section 1. Fiscal changes.
SB670,2,74 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation
5to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (1) (cr) of the statutes, as
6affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $1,300,000 for the first

1fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase
2funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made. In the schedule under
3section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of
4transportation under section 20.395 (1) (cr) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of
52013, the dollar amount is increased by $1,672,500 for the second fiscal year of the
6fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for the
7purpose for which the appropriation is made.
