1An Act to create 238.07 (4) of the statutes;
relating to: annual financial audit
2of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

This bill requires the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to have an
annual audit conducted of its financial statements for the previous fiscal year and
submit its audit report to the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and both houses of
the legislature.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 238.07 (4) of the statutes is created to read:

(4) Annually the board shall have an independent audit conducted of
5the corporation's financial statements for the previous fiscal year and submit the
6audit report to the joint legislative audit committee and the chief clerk of each house
7of the legislature, for distribution to the legislature under s. 13.172 (2).
