1Relating to: requiring the speaker of the assembly to appoint a special committee

The resolution requires the speaker of the assembly to immediately appoint a
special committee on clean energy, consisting of an equal number of majority and
minority party members, to devise ways to facilitate the development of clean energy
solutions, create jobs while reducing pollution, move Wisconsin away from fossil
fuel-based energy production, and prevent foreign nations from dominating the
clean energy field.
Under the resolution, the committee must deliver its findings to the speaker
and the assembly before February 1, 2014.

3Resolved by the assembly, That the speaker of the assembly shall
4immediately appoint a special committee on clean energy, consisting of an equal
5number of members of the majority and minority parties, to devise ways to facilitate
6the development of clean energy solutions, create jobs while reducing pollution, move
7Wisconsin away from fossil fuel-based energy production, and prevent foreign
1nations from dominating the clean energy field. The committee shall deliver its
