1An Act to create 20.115 (4) (s) and 93.60 of the statutes;
relating to: grazing

The 2013-15 biennial budget act,
2013 Wisconsin Act 20, eliminated statutory
authority for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection to
award grants for technical education and research under the Wisconsin Grazing
Lands Conservation Initiative. The purpose of the initiative is to maintain and
improve the management and productivity of grazing lands.
This bill restores statutory authority for grants for technical education and
research under the Wisconsin Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative and provides
funding for the grants.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

693.60 Grazing lands conservation grant. The department shall award a
7grant in each fiscal year, from the appropriation account under s. 20.115 (4) (s), for
