AB735,1,2 1An Act to amend 20.923 (2) (c) of the statutes; relating to: establishing the
2salary of the governor.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the governor's salary is set at 21.6 percent above the
minimum of the salary range for Executive Salary Group 10, as established in the
state civil service compensation plan. This bill sets the governor's salary at 300
percent of the mean annual salary for all occupations in Wisconsin, as determined
by the Bureau of Labor Standards in the federal Department of Labor.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
