5Resolved by the senate, That pursuant to section 165.25 (1m) of the
6Wisconsin statutes, the senate authorizes the attorney general to file or join a lawsuit
7on behalf of the state or the people of this state challenging the constitutionality of
8the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or any part thereof, and the
9federal Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010, or any
10part thereof, or to file or join a brief or briefs as amicus curiae in such a lawsuit.
