This joint resolution modifies the session schedule of the legislature to extend
the deadline for the governor's budget message until February 17, 2009, and creates
an additional floorperiod for February 17, 2009.

Budget deadline extended. Notwithstanding 2009 Senate Joint Resolution
71, section 1 (1m), the deadline of Tuesday, January 27, 2009, set by section 16.45 of
8the statutes for introduction of the executive budget bill or bills, submittal of the
9state budget report, and delivery of the governor's budget message, is extended to
10Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
