SJR41,1,2 1Relating to: creating a committee of conference on 2009 Assembly Bill 75, the
2executive budget bill of the 2009 legislature.
SJR41,1,8 3Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That, upon the adoption
4of this joint resolution by the senate and concurrence therein by the assembly and
5notwithstanding joint rule 3, there is created a committee of conference on 2009
6Assembly Bill 75, relating to state finances and appropriations, constituting the
7executive budget bill of the 2009 legislature, to reconcile the differences between the
82 houses and to present its report on the bill to the 2 houses; and
SJR41,1,10 9Be it further resolved, That, notwithstanding joint rule 3 (1), senate rule
1020m, and assembly rule 3 (1) (j):
SJR41,1,1411 (1) The committee of conference on 2009 Assembly Bill 75 shall consist of 4
12members from each house, with 3 members from each house representing the
13majority party in that house and one member from each house representing the
14minority party in that house.

1(2) (a) The senate members of the committee of conference on 2009 Assembly
2Bill 75 representing the majority party shall be appointed by the president of the
3senate and the senate member representing the minority party shall be appointed
4by the senate minority leader.
SJR41,2,85 (b) The assembly members of the committee of conference on 2009 Assembly
6Bill 75 representing the majority party shall be appointed by the speaker of the
7assembly and the assembly member representing the minority party shall be
8appointed by the assembly minority leader.
SJR41,2,109 (3) The report by the committee of conference on 2009 Assembly Bill 75 must
10be supported by the votes of at least 3 of the 4 members representing each house.
