1An Act to amend 114.61 (1) (c) of the statutes;
relating to: composition of the
2board of directors of the Wisconsin Aerospace Authority.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the board of directors of the Wisconsin Aerospace Authority
is made up of the following members: six members nominated by the governor and
appointed with the advice and consent of the senate, a member of the senate
appointed by the president of the senate, a member of the assembly appointed by the
speaker of the assembly, and the director of the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium
(WSGC). This bill allows the director of the WSGC to designate another person to
serve as a member of the board in his or her stead.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 114.61 (1) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

(1) (c) The director of the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium
or the
5director's designee. If the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium ceases to exist or does
1not appoint a director, an additional member of the board shall be appointed under
2par. (a) in lieu of the member under this paragraph.
