SB397,1,2 1An Act to amend 20.485 (2) (db) of the statutes; relating to: general purpose
2revenue funding for the veterans trust fund and making an appropriation.

This bill adds $12,600,000 to the veterans trust fund from the general fund in
each of the next three years.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB397, s. 1 3Section 1. 20.485 (2) (db) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB397,1,74 20.485 (2) (db) General fund supplement to veterans trust fund. From the
5general fund, the amounts in the schedule a sum sufficient equal to $12,600,000 per
6year,
to be paid into the veterans trust fund to be used for veterans programs. No
7moneys may be expended from this appropriation after June 30, 2012.

1(1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation
2to the department of veterans affairs under section 20.485 (2) (db) of the statutes, as
3affected by the acts of 2009, the dollar amount is increased by $12,600,000 for the
4first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect for the
5purpose for which the appropriation is made. In the schedule under section 20.005
6(3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of veterans affairs under
7section 20.485 (2) (db) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2009, the dollar
8amount is increased by $12,600,000 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium
9in which this subsection takes effect for the purpose for which the appropriation is
10made.
