AJR79,1,42 Whereas, Terry Wise was born June 6, 1949, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of
3Thomas and Evelyn (Webb) Wise, and passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60 on
4August 30, 2009; and
AJR79,1,55 Whereas, Terry married his loving wife, Deanna "Dee," in Baraboo in 1969; and
AJR79,1,66 Whereas, Terry and Dee had three sons, Thomas, Michael, and Joshua; and
AJR79,1,87 Whereas, Terry dedicated his life to helping others with his career as director
8of the Baraboo Ambulance Service; and
AJR79,1,139 Whereas, Terry was an active and proud member of several organizations
10dedicated to improving EMS, including: the Professional Ambulance Association of
11Wisconsin, the South Central Regional Trauma Advisory Council, the Wisconsin
12EMS Association, the Local Emergency Planning Committee, and the Sauk County
13Emergency Management Team; and
AJR79,1,1514 Whereas, Terry also dedicated his time as a CPR instructor for over 20 years,
15was a WIAA official, and was involved in local service organizations; and

1Whereas, Terry is survived by his wife, Deanna "Dee" Wise of Baraboo; three
2sons, Thomas J. (Angelia) Wise III of Hammond, Michael Wise of Evanston, Ill., and
3Joshua Wise of Baraboo; four grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel, Emily, and Lela
4Marie; three stepgrandchildren, Tony, Steven, and Amy; three brothers, Thomas
5(Kathy) Wise, Tim (Barb) Wise, and George (Jeannine) Wise; two sisters, Maureen
6(Jake) Blaylock, and Margaret Mary (Don) Gray; and other relatives and many
7friends all of whom he loved dearly; and
AJR79,2,98 Whereas, Terry was a compassionate, likable person who brought great humor
9and knowledge to everyone he met; and
AJR79,2,1010 Whereas, Terry was laid to rest on September 4, 2009; and
AJR79,2,1211 Whereas, Terry dedicated his life to public service by helping others and will be
12sorely missed; now, therefore, be it
AJR79,2,16 13Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
14Wisconsin state legislature hereby remember Terry Wise for his exemplary life,
15express their sorrow at his death, and extend their sincere condolences to his family,
16friends, and colleagues; and, be it further
AJR79,2,19 17Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
18resolution to Terry's wife, Deanna Wise, and his children, Thomas, Michael, and
19Joshua.
