This bill prohibits a person from compiling commercial mobile service
telephone numbers (cellular telephone numbers) for the purpose of including the
telephone numbers in a directory of commercial mobile service telephone numbers
that is offered for sale or lease to another.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 134.725 of the statutes is created to read:

4134.725 Compilation of commercial mobile service numbers. (1) In this
5section, "commercial mobile service" has the meaning given in s. 196.01 (2i).

6(2) No person may compile the commercial mobile service telephone numbers
7of individuals for the purpose of including the telephone numbers in a directory of
1commercial mobile service telephone numbers that is offered for sale or lease to
2another.
