2007 - 2008 LEGISLATURE
November 9, 2007 - Introduced by Law Revision Committee. Referred to
Committee on Ethics Reform and Government Operations.
SB318,1,3 1An Act to amend 20.916 (8) (a) of the statutes; relating to: duties of the director
2of the Office of State Employment Relations (suggested as remedial legislation
3by the Office of State Employment Relations).
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
The bill corrects an obsolete reference to the duties of the secretary of
employment relations. That position no longer exists and all duties of the secretary
are now those of the director of the Office of State Employment Relations.
For further information, see the Note provided by the Law Revision Committee
of the Joint Legislative Council.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
Law Revision Committee prefatory note: This bill is a remedial legislation
proposal, requested by the Office of State Employment Relations and introduced by the
Law Revision Committee under s. 13.83 (1) (c) 4., stats. After careful consideration of the
various provisions of the bill, the Law Revision Committee has determined that this bill
makes minor substantive changes in the statutes, and that these changes are desirable
as a matter of public policy.
SB318, s. 1 4Section 1. 20.916 (8) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB318,2,9
120.916 (8) (a) The director of the office of state employment relations shall
