SB304,1,3 1An Act relating to: renumbering, amending, and revising various provisions of
2the statutes for the purpose of correcting and clarifying references, reconciling
3conflicts, and repelling unintended repeals (Revisor's Correction Bill).

This revisor's correction bill is explained in the Notes provided by the revisor
of statutes in the body of the bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB304, s. 1 4Section 1. 16.848 (4) of the statutes, as created by 2005 Wisconsin Act 25, is
5amended to read:
SB304,2,126 16.848 (4) Except as provided in s. 13.48 (14) (e), if there is any outstanding
7public debt used to finance the acquisition, construction, or improvement of any
8property that is sold under sub. (1), the department shall deposit a sufficient amount
9of the net proceeds from the sale of the property in the bond security and redemption

1fund under s. 18.09 to repay the principal and pay the interest on the debt, and any
2premium due upon refunding any of the debt. If the property was acquired,
3constructed, or improved with federal financial assistance, the department shall pay
4to the federal government any of the net proceeds required by federal law. If the
5property was acquired by gift or grant or acquired with gift or grant funds, the
6department shall adhere to any restriction governing use of the proceeds. Except as
7required under sub. (5m) and ss. 13.48 (14) (e), 20.395 (9) (qd), and 51.06 (6), if there
8is no such debt outstanding, there are no moneys payable to the federal government,
9and there is no restriction governing use of the proceeds, and if the net proceeds
10exceed the amount required to be deposited, paid, or used for another purpose under
11this subsection, the department shall deposit the net proceeds or remaining net
12proceeds in the general fund.
Note: The creation of s. 16.848 (5m) by 2005 Wis. Act 25 was deleted by the
governor's partial veto rendering the stricken cross-reference surplusage.
SB304, s. 2 13Section 2. 71.07 (3w) (a) 6. of the statutes, as created by 2005 Wisconsin Act

, is amended to read:
SB304,2,1815 71.07 (3w) (a) 6. "Zone payroll" means the amount of state payroll that is
16attributable to compensation paid to individuals for services that are performed in
17 a an enterprise zone. "Zone payroll" does not include the amount of compensation
18paid to any individual that exceeds $100,000.

23obtained by multiplying 20 percent of the sum of the claimant's zone payroll in the

1taxable year and the adjusted basis of the claimant's property at the time that the
2property is first placed in service in the enterprise zone by 6.5 percent.

9first full-time job. This subdivision does not apply to employees who do not work in
10 a an enterprise zone.

SB304, s. 12 13Section 12. 121.08 (4) (a) 2. of the statutes is amended to read:
SB304,5,1714 121.08 (4) (a) 2. Divide the sum under subd. 1. by the total amount of state aid
15that all school districts are eligible to be paid from the appropriations appropriation
16under s. 20.255 (2) (ac) and (r), calculated as if the reduction under par. (b) had not
17occurred.
Note: Section 20.255 (2) (r) was repealed by 2005 Wis. Act 25. The governor's
partial veto of section 1898m of Act 25 resulted in the retention of the cross-reference to
the repealed provision.
SB304, s. 13 18Section 13. 121.08 (4) (a) 3. of the statutes is amended to read:
SB304,6,219 121.08 (4) (a) 3. Multiply the amount of state aid that the school district is
20eligible to be paid from the appropriations appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ac) and

Note: Section 20.255 (2) (r) was repealed by 2005 Wis. Act 25. The governor's
partial veto of section 1898s of Act 25 resulted in the retention of the cross-reference to
the repealed provision.
SB304, s. 14 3Section 14. 560.275 (9) of the statutes, as created by 2005 Wisconsin Act 25,
4is amended to read:
SB304,6,75 560.275 (9) Distressed Areas. The department shall award not less than 35
6percent of the total amount of grants and loans made under this section to businesses
7in distressed areas, as defined in s. 560.605 (7) (b).
