Under current law, no one may enter another person's private property without
that person's consent and look into that person's dwelling unit for the purpose of
sexual gratification. This bill prohibits any person from looking into another
person's dwelling unit from a common area in a multidwelling building.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB257, s. 1 3Section 1. 942.08 (2) (d) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB257,1,74 942.08 (2) (d) (intro.) Enters another person's private property without that
5person's consent or enters an enclosed or unenclosed common area of a multiunit
6dwelling or condominium
and looks into any individual's dwelling unit if all of the
7following apply:
