AJR21,1,63 Whereas, on October 27, 2006, Sergeant Luke J. Zimmerman, of Luxemburg,
4Wisconsin, a member of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine
5Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, died while serving his country in Al Anbar
6province, Iraq; and
AJR21,1,87 Whereas, Sergeant Zimmerman provided faithful and honorable service to the
8people of the state of Wisconsin and the people of the United States of America; and
AJR21,1,109 Whereas, the people of Wisconsin mourn the death of Sergeant Zimmerman;
10and
AJR21,1,1411 Whereas, Sergeant Zimmerman is survived by his parents, Claire Dombrowski
12and Richard Dombrowski, Jr., of Luxemburg, brother, Leonardo Zimmerman,
13stepsisters, Brooke and Toni Dombrowski, grandfather, Alfred Dennisen, of Green
14Bay, and stepgrandmother, Rosemary Gagnon, of Green Bay; and

1Whereas, Sergeant Zimmerman was laid to rest on Saturday, November 4,
22006, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia; now, therefore, be it
AJR21,2,6 3Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the legislature of
4the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of Sergeant Luke J.
5Zimmerman and extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and
6colleagues; and be it further
AJR21,2,11 7Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
8resolution to Sergeant Zimmerman's parents, Claire and Richard Dombrowski, of
9Luxemburg, his brother, Leonardo Dombrowski, his stepsisters, Brooke and Toni
10Dombrowski, his grandfather, Alfred Dennisen, of Green Bay, and his step
11grandmother, Rosemary Gagnon, of Green Bay.
