AB798,1,2 1An Act to renumber and amend 563.93 (4); and to create 563.93 (4) (b) of the
2statutes; relating to: the sale of raffle tickets.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, certain religious, charitable, service, fraternal, veterans,
and not-for-profit organizations may conduct a raffle upon obtaining a raffle license.
An organization conducting a raffle may not sell tickets for the raffle more than 270
days before the raffle drawing.
This bill provides that an organization that holds a raffle license and has been
in existence for at least five years may sell raffle tickets up to one year before the
raffle drawing.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

3organization was issued a Class A license may offer tickets for sale for a proposed
