AJR88,1,42 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Richard Warner was born September 1, 1982, and was
3killed in action with Lctl. Brent Vroman December 13, 2004, in the Babil Province
4of Iraq by an improvised explosive device; and
AJR88,1,75 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner enlisted with friends Matt Jencen and Jared
6Hidalgo and served with distinction and honor as a member of the Milwaukee-based
7Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Division; and
AJR88,1,108 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner attended St. Paul Catholic Elementary School in
9Genesee Depot and later attended Catholic Memorial High School for one year and
10graduated from Kettle Moraine High School; and
AJR88,1,1211 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner loved the northwoods of Wisconsin, excelled in
12sports, and had a passion for cars; and
AJR88,1,1413 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner had enrolled in and aspired to one day become a
14helicopter pilot and hoped to one day work for either the FBI or the CIA; and

1Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner will be remembered by his parents, Patrick and
2Mary Donahue, his sister, Kimberly Warner, and his other family and friends for his
3bravery and courage and will never be forgotten; and
AJR88,2,64 Whereas, Lance Cpl. Warner will also be remembered in honor of his late
5grandparents Adelrich Kaelin, William Warner, and Donald and Marie Donahue;
6now, therefore, be it
AJR88,2,10 7Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
8Wisconsin legislature commend the life of Lance Cpl. Richard Warner, express their
9sorrow at his death, and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and be
10it further
AJR88,2,12 11Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
12resolution to the family of Lance Cpl. Richard Warner.
