SJR33,1,43 Whereas, Wisconsin Public Radio, under the tenure of host Tom Clark, has
4furthered the field of talk radio in the state of Wisconsin; and
SJR33,1,75 Whereas, Tom Clark has earned numerous awards and commendations from
6organizations such as the Center for Public Representation and the League of
7Women Voters; and
SJR33,1,108 Whereas, with the dedication and ambition of host Tom Clark, various
9innovative talk forums and discussions have been introduced to the programming at
10Wisconsin Public Radio; and
SJR33,1,1411 Whereas, throughout the decades of Tom Clark's career with Wisconsin Public
12Radio he has provided listeners with an invaluable, educational media outlet from
13which listeners can learn about and speak out on issues pertaining to Wisconsin
14government; and

1Whereas, aside from hosting a morning radio talk show, Tom Clark has served
2this country in the Navy; and
SJR33,2,53 Whereas, the listeners of Wisconsin Public Radio have been provided with an
4immeasurable service and are continually inspired by the work accomplished by Tom
5Clark; now, therefore, be it
SJR33,2,10 6Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
7legislature of the state of Wisconsin commend and congratulate Tom Clark for his
8hard work and dedication in advancing state government talk forums and share the
9gratitude of listeners throughout the state of Wisconsin in his achievements; and, be
10it further
SJR33,2,13 11Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
12resolution to Tom Clark, his staff, and Clark's producers Sheryl Gasser and Rob
13Ferrett.
