1. Officers of the 1997-98 senate. The following persons are officers
5of the 1997-98 senate, as elected by the senate through the adoption of this
6resolution:

2. Rereferral of pending business. (1) Upon the adoption of this
10resolution by the senate, all proposed administrative rules and gubernatorial
11nominations for appointment referred under the rules of the senate to any standing
12or special committee of the senate shall be withdrawn from the respective committee
13and returned to the office of the chief clerk, to be rereferred by the presiding officer
14to the appropriate committees of the senate as determined by the presiding officer.
