Whereas, Olson's Woodville Meats of Woodville, Wisconsin, was awarded nine gold medals, three silver medals, and the prestigious Ehrenpokal Trophy for their custom meat products at the 2013 IFFA International Quality Meat Competition in Frankfurt, Germany; and

Whereas, the IFFA is the leading trade fair for the international meat industry and more than 60,000 visitors from over 140 countries were in attendance at this year's event, which was held from May 4th through the 9th; and

Whereas, the IFFA is held once every three years and this year's international competition featured 1,700 products from over 200 artisan butcher shops representing nineteen different countries; and

Whereas, at this year's international competition, Olson's Woodville Meats was recognized for its dried beef, beef snack sticks, beef jerky, ham and pineapple snack sticks, bison summer sausage, bison thuringer, bison snack sticks, chipotle garlic summer sausage, bockwurst, smoked boneless ham, lamb cervelat, and chicken andouille sausage; and

Whereas, it is notable that Olson's Woodville Meats was the only company from the United States to win at the international competition; and

Whereas, Olson's Woodville Meats was founded by Roger Olson in 1962 and has remained a family business for over fifty years; and

Whereas, Roger's grandsons Kevin and Cory Olson carry on the family business as third generation butchers; and

Whereas, Olson's Woodville Meats offers its clientele a wide variety of meat products including summer sausage, bacon, snack sticks, hot dogs, and brats, all in various flavors; and

Whereas, Olson's Woodville Meats provides custom processing for beef, pork, lamb, goat, and bison as well as wild game such as red deer, elk, and venison; and

Whereas, Olson's Woodville Meats has made a mark as an exemplary, homegrown Wisconsin business; now, therefore, be it
