ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and public service of Tommy T. Tradewell.
Whereas, Tommy T. Tradewell is an honored and respected life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a resident of the village of Sussex, Wisconsin; and
Whereas, Tommy joined the VFW in 1968 after serving two years in the US Army in Vietnam as a demolition specialist; and
  Whereas, Tommy, for his service to his country, has been awarded the Purple Heart, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal; and
  Whereas, Tommy has served in many elected leadership positions with the VFW including Department Commander, District 11 National Council, and Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief representing VFW members from Wisconsin and Iowa; and
  Whereas, Tommy has been active and involved in the community and in his country as a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Military Order of the Cootie, the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin legislature commends Tommy T. Tradewell for his dedicated service to his country, its citizens, and his comrades and congratulates him for his continued service as the 2009-2010 VFW National Commander-in-Chief.
