SB798-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB798-SA1,1,2 21. Page 3, line 9: after “2018" insert “, except as provided under sub. (4) (dm)".

SB798-SA1,1,4 32. Page 4, line 7: delete “by December 31, 2018" and substitute “within 120
4days from the date on which payments are issued under sub. (2) (b)".

SB798-SA1,1,6 53. Page 4, line 9: delete “by December 31, 2018" and substitute “within 120
6days from the date on which the payment is issued to the claimant".

SB798-SA1,1,7 74. Page 4, line 10: after that line insert:

SB798-SA1,1,13 8“(dm) The department may delay the payment under sub. (2) (b) to a date in
9April 2019, as specified by the department, if it determines that doing so would be
10more cost effective than making payments by September 1, 2018, and it reports its
11determination to the legislature, as provided under s. 13.172 (2). If the department
12delays the payment under this paragraph, this section does not apply after December
1331, 2019, except as provided in par. (b).”.
