SB144-AA1,1,4 42. Page 3, line 4: after that line insert:

SB144-AA1,1,5 5“ Section 2m. 196.378 (3) (a) 3. of the statutes is created to read:

SB144-AA1,1,106 196.378 (3) (a) 3. If an electric provider has satisfied the provider's renewable
7energy percentage required under sub. (2) (a) 2., the provider may not create a
8renewable resource credit under subd. 1m. using heat as described under sub. (1) (h)
91. k. or heat that is a byproduct of a manufacturing process and is used to provide
10thermal energy for another purpose.”.
