SR3-SA10,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the resolution as follows:

SR3-SA10,1,2 21. Page 5, line 6: after that line insert:

SR3-SA10,1,3 3" Section 10d. Senate rule 20 (2) (a) is amended to read:

SR3-SA10,1,9 4Senate Rule 20 (2) (a) The chairperson of the committee on senate
5organization, as near to the commencement of the biennial session as possible, shall
6make and report to the senate all committee appointments of members of the
7majority and minority parties. The Subject to par. (d), the chairperson of the
8committee on senate organization shall designate a chairperson for each senate
9committee and joint committee.

SR3-SA10,10p 10Section 10p. Senate rule 20 (2) (d) is created to read:

SR3-SA10,2,2 11Senate Rule 20 (2) (d) If the 2 major political parties are represented in the
12senate by equal membership, the members of senate standing committees shall be

1evenly apportioned and the former chairperson of the committee shall be the
2chairperson of the committee.".
