SB259-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

SB259-AA1,1,3 21. Page 4, line 17: delete "Beginning" and substitute "Subject to s. 59.255 (1m),
3beginning".

SB259-AA1,1,4 42. Page 5, line 21: after that line insert:

SB259-AA1,1,9 5"(1m) Referendum requirement. No comptroller may be elected under s. 59.20
6(2) (am), and this section does not apply, unless an advisory referendum on the
7creation of that office is held in the county. The board shall hold the advisory
8referendum as soon as practicable following the effective date of this subsection ....
