AB92-AA16,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB92-AA16,1,6 21. Page 1, line 4: after "Program" insert ", requiring teachers and
3administrators employed by and owners of participating private schools to be subject
4to the criminal history and child abuse record search requirements and employment
5restrictions imposed upon caregivers and entities under the Wisconsin Shares
6program,".
AB92-AA16,1,8 72. Page 1, line 5: delete "program" and substitute "Milwaukee Parental Choice
8Program".
AB92-AA16,1,9 93. Page 3, line 13: after that line insert:
AB92-AA16,1,10 10" Section 6m. 119.23 (7) (h) of the statutes is created to read:
AB92-AA16,2,511 119.23 (7) (h) 1. Annually, by August 1, the state superintendent shall, with the
12assistance of the department of justice, ensure that each teacher and administrator
13employed by a participating private school is subject to the same criminal history and

1child abuse record search as is conducted with respect to a caregiver specified in s.
248.685 (1) (ag) 1. A participating private school may not employ a person as a teacher
3or administrator or contract with the person to serve as a teacher or administrator
4if the person would not be eligible or permitted to be employed, contracted with, or
5licensed for any of the reasons specified under s. 48.685.
AB92-AA16,2,96 2. Annually, by August 1, the state superintendent shall, with the assistance
7of the department of justice, ensure that each owner of a participating private school
8is subject to the same criminal history and child abuse record search as is conducted
9with respect to a caregiver specified in s. 48.685 (1) (ag) 1.".
AB92-AA16,2,10 104. Page 3, line 17: after that line insert:
AB92-AA16,2,11 11" Section 7g. 119.23 (10) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:
AB92-AA16,2,1612 119.23 (10) (bm) The state superintendent may issue an order immediately
13terminating a private school's participation in the program under this section if he
14or she determines that the owner of the private school would not be eligible or
15permitted to be employed, contracted with, or licensed for any of the reasons specified
16under s. 48.685.
AB92-AA16, s. 7r 17Section 7r. 119.23 (10) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB92-AA16,2,2018 119.23 (10) (c) Whenever the state superintendent issues an order under par.
19(a), (am), or (b), or (bm), he or she shall immediately notify the parent or guardian
20of each pupil attending the private school under this section.".
