SB20-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB20-AA2,1,2 21. Page 1, line 2: after "fighters" insert "and their surviving spouses".
SB20-AA2,1,3 32. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:
SB20-AA2,1,4 4" Section 1h. 341.14 (6r) (f) 33. of the statutes is amended to read:
SB20-AA2,1,65 341.14 (6r) (f) 33. Fire fighters and surviving spouses of fire fighters who die
6in the line of duty.".
SB20-AA2,1,7 73. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 7 and substitute:
SB20-AA2,1,8 8" Section 1t. 341.14 (6r) (g) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB20-AA2,2,29 341.14 (6r) (g) If Except as provided in sub. (8) (a), if an individual in possession
10of special plates under par. (f) 33., 34. or 48. or of personalized plates under s. 341.145
11(1) (c) of the same color and design as special plates under par. (f) 33., 34. or 48. does
12not maintain membership in the applicable authorized special group during a year
13that is not a plate issuance year, the individual shall dispose of the special plates in
1a manner prescribed by the department. This paragraph does not apply to plates
2issued to the surviving spouse of a fire fighter who died in the line of duty.".
SB20-AA2,2,3 34. Page 2, line 11: delete " par." and substitute "sub. (6r)".
SB20-AA2,2,5 45. Page 2, line 15: after "spouse" insert "if the application for reissuance of the
5plate is made within 2 years of the plate's return or surrender".
SB20-AA2,2,6 66. Page 2, line 17: after "retained" insert "or reissued".
