SB44-AA50,1,21 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute

SB44-AA50,1,5 31. Page 171, line 4: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2003-04 by
4$136,800 and increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2004-05 by $691,600 to
5increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.
SB44-AA50,1,8 62. Page 171, line 6: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2003-04 by
7$42,400 and increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2004-05 by $219,000 to
8increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.

SB44-AA50,4,199 (a) In fiscal year 2003-04, the department of transportation shall transfer
10$3,407,200 from the appropriation account under section 20.395 (4) (ax) of the
11statutes to the appropriation account under section 20.505 (1) (z) of the statutes if
12the transfer will not result in the loss or reduction of federal highway aid received
13by the state. If the transfer under this paragraph would result in the department
14expending more federal highway aid in fiscal year 2003-04 than the state receives
15for fiscal year 2003-04, the department shall reduce expenditures from the
16appropriation account under section 20.395 (3) (bx) of the statutes in an amount
17equal to the amount by which the transfer under this paragraph would otherwise
18cause the department's expenditures of federal highway aid in fiscal year 2003-04
19to exceed its receipt of federal highway aid for fiscal year 2003-04.
SB44-AA50,5,620 (b) In fiscal year 2004-05, the department of transportation shall transfer

22statutes to the appropriation account under section 20.505 (1) (z) of the statutes if
