AB1-SA28,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

AB1-SA28,1,3 21. Page 2, line 1: after the 2nd "tax" insert "in any county in the district in
3which the county board approves the tax".

AB1-SA28,1,6 42. Page 20, line 8: after "price" insert: ", except that the district's resolution
5applies only in a county in the district in which the county board approves the tax
6by adopting a resolution under s. 229.682 (7)".

AB1-SA28,1,7 73. Page 20, line 9: before "resolution" insert "district's".

AB1-SA28,1,8 84. Page 20, line 10: after "adoption of the" insert "county board".

AB1-SA28,1,10 95. Page 20, line 22: before the comma insert: "and the tax is approved by a
10county board under s. 229.682 (7)".

AB1-SA28,1,12 116. Page 25, line 2: delete that line and substitute: "effective date of the county
12ordinance or tax or the effective date of the rate increase,".

AB1-SA28,1,15 137. Page 25, line 6: delete lines 6 and 7 and substitute: "date of a county
14ordinance tax are subject to the county taxes under this subchapter on the effective
15date of the ordinance tax, as provided".

AB1-SA28,2,6 610. Page 34, line 22: after that line insert:

AB1-SA28,2,11 7"(7) Tax imposition resolution. A tax imposed by a district under s. 229.68 (15)
8applies only in those counties within the jurisdiction in which the county's board
9adopts a resolution that approves of the imposition of the tax. Each county board
10shall vote on whether to approve the imposition of the tax not later than 90 days after
11the district board authorizes the imposition of the tax.".
