SB565-SSA1-SA13,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB565-SSA1-SA13,1,3 21. Page 3, line 1: after the semicolon insert: "funding alcohol and other drug
3abuse treatment beds at certain facilities;".
SB565-SSA1-SA13,1,4 42. Page 26, line 3: after that line insert:
SB565-SSA1-SA13,1,5 5" Section 44d. 46.48 (17) of the statutes is created to read:
SB565-SSA1-SA13,1,116 46.48 (17) Alcohol and other drug abuse treatment beds. For funding of
7alcohol and other drug abuse treatment beds at facilities known as Meta House, Matt
8Talbott and Crossroads in a 1st class city, to be used for individuals in need of
9treatment who are inmates, probationers and parolees or who have not been
10convicted of a crime. Individuals who have been convicted of a crime and who have
11not previously received treatment shall be given priority.".

1(1p) Alcohol and other drug abuse treatment beds. In the schedule under
2section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health
3and social services under section 20.435 (7) (bc) of the statutes, as affected by the acts
4of 1995, the dollar amount is increased by $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1995-96 and the
5dollar amount is increased by $4,000,000 for fiscal year 1996-97 to increase funding
6for alcohol and other drug abuse treatment beds under section 46.48 (17) of the
7statutes, as created by this act.".
