SB270-SA7,1,11 4165.018 Instructions for implementing certain detentions. (1) The
5attorney general shall develop written instructions for use under s. 51.15 (1) (a)
6(intro.) by law enforcement officers and other persons who are authorized to take a
7person into custody under ch. 48. These instructions shall be used by a law
8enforcement officer or other person in taking an individual into custody under s.
951.15 (1) (a) 5. The attorney general shall, by March 1, 1996, distribute these
10instructions to all law enforcement officers and other persons who are authorized to
11take a person into custody under ch. 48.

SB270-SA7,1,13 12(2) This section does not apply after the last day of the 59th month commencing
