AB73-ASA1-AA3,1,9 4(1)  Notwithstanding section 21.49 (3) (b) 1. of the statutes, as affected by this
5act, if an eligible guard member completes a course under section 21.49 (3) (a) of the
6statutes, as affected by this act, less than 6 months before the effective date of this
7subsection, he or she may submit an application for a tuition grant to the department
8of military affairs for approval of the payment of a tuition grant no later than 90 days
9after the effective date of this subsection.".
