AB477-ASA1,1,4 1An Act to repeal 146.89 (2) (a) 2. and 146.89 (3) (a) 1.; and to renumber and
2amend 146.89 (2) (a) 1. and 146.89 (3) (a) 2. of the statutes; relating to:
3changing requirements for approval of certain applications for participation in
4the volunteer health care provider program.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB477-ASA1, s. 1 5Section 1. 146.89 (2) (a) 1. of the statutes is renumbered 146.89 (2) (a) and
6amended to read:

AB477-ASA1,1,117 146.89 (2) (a) A volunteer health care provider may participate under this
8section only if he or she submits a joint application with a nonprofit agency in a
9county that is specified under sub. (3) (a) 1. to the department of administration and
10that department approves the application. The department of administration shall
11provide application forms for use under this subdivision paragraph.

AB477-ASA1, s. 2 12Section 2. 146.89 (2) (a) 2. of the statutes is repealed.

1Section 4. 146.89 (3) (a) 2. of the statutes is renumbered 146.89 (3) (a) and
2amended to read:

AB477-ASA1,2,63 146.89 (3) (a) The volunteer health care provider shall provide services under
4par. (b) without charge in any county, other than those counties specified in subd. 1.,
5at the nonprofit agency, if the joint application of the volunteer health care provider
6and the nonprofit agency in that county has received approval under sub. (2) (a) 2.
