AB42-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB42-AA2,1,3 21. Page 2, line 1: delete "Whoever" and substitute "Except as provided in sub.
3(3), whoever".

AB42-AA2,1,4 42. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

AB42-AA2,1,7 5"(3) A person alleged to have given false information in violation of sub. (2) may
6not be prosecuted under sub. (2) if any of the following applies to the information that
7was provided by the person:

AB42-AA2,1,108 (a) The information concerned abuse or neglect, or led to the discovery of abuse
9or neglect, that is determined, under s. 48.981, to have occurred or to be likely to
10occur.

AB42-AA2,1,1211 (b) The information concerned abuse or neglect, or led to the discovery of abuse
12or neglect, that is determined, during a criminal proceeding, to have occurred.".
