AB150-SA31,1,3 21. Page 520, line 1: increase the underscored dollar amount by $3,500,000 for
3the purpose of making the payments under section 9108 (13g) of this act.

AB150-SA31,3,8 20(13g)Northern Great Lakes Regional Visitor Center. If the building
21commission approves the Northern Great Lakes Regional Visitor Center project, the
22building commission shall authorize the contracting of public debt under section
2320.866 (2) (z) of the statutes, as affected by this act, for the purpose of making
24payments to the federal government for the construction of the center. The total
25amount of the payments under this subsection shall be determined by the building

1commission, but shall not exceed the lesser of the amount enumerated in the state
2building program for the project under general fund supported borrowing or 50% of
3the cost of constructing the center. The building commission may not make
4payments under this subsection, unless the department of administration has
5reviewed and approved the plans for the center. Notwithstanding sections 16.85 (1)
6and 16.855 (1) of the statutes, the department of administration shall not supervise
7any services or work or let any contract for the project. Sections 16.87 and 16.89 of
8the statutes do not apply to the project.".
