2013 WISCONSIN ACT 126
An Act to create 20.435 (5) (cd) and 46.535 of the statutes; relating to: grants for crisis intervention team training and making an appropriation.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
126,1 Section 1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table PDF
126,2 Section 2. 20.435 (5) (cd) of the statutes is created to read:
20.435 (5) (cd) Crisis intervention training grants. Biennially, the amounts in the schedule for awarding grants for mental health crisis intervention team training under s. 46.535.
126,3 Section 3. 46.535 of the statutes is created to read:
46.535 Crisis intervention training grants. From the appropriation under s. 20.435 (5) (cd), the department shall award grants in the total amount of $250,000 in each fiscal biennium for mental health crisis intervention team training for law enforcement agencies, as described in s. 165.77 (1) (c), and correctional officers, as defined in s. 102.475 (8) (a).
