2005 WISCONSIN ACT 222
An Act to amend 121.105 (3) of the statutes; relating to: state aid paid to consolidated school districts.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
222,1 Section 1. 121.105 (3) of the statutes is amended to read:
121.105 (3) In the school year in which a school district consolidation takes effect under s. 117.08 or 117.09 and in each of the subsequent 4 school years, the consolidated school district's state aid shall be an amount that is not less than the aggregate state aid received by to which the consolidating school districts were eligible in the school year prior to the school year in which the consolidation takes effect. The additional state aid shall be paid from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ac).
222,2 Section 2. Initial applicability.
(1) This act first applies to state aid paid in the 2006-07 school year.
