2003 WISCONSIN ACT 182
An Act to amend 814.705 (1) (intro.); and to create 814.705 (3) of the statutes; relating to: sheriff's fees established by the county.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
182,1 Section 1. 814.705 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
814.705 (1) (intro.) With respect to fees enumerated in s. 814.70 (1), (2), (3) (a) and (b) and, (4) (a) and (b), and (8):
182,2m Section 2m. 814.705 (3) of the statutes is created to read:
814.705 (3) With respect to sheriff's fees for the seizure of property or evictions under s. 814.70 (8), the county board may establish a higher fee in an amount not to exceed the actual costs incurred in performing the seizure or eviction.
