2001 WISCONSIN ACT 36
An Act relating to: a temporary emergency unemployment insurance program and requiring the exercise of rule-making authority.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
36,1 Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) If the 107th Congress of the United States enacts a temporary emergency unemployment insurance program, the department of workforce development shall promptly implement the program and shall promptly promulgate any administrative rules that may be necessary to implement the program, to the extent permitted by state law.
(2) If the 107th Congress of the United States fails to enact a temporary emergency unemployment insurance program by January 1, 2002, the council on unemployment insurance shall make a recommendation to the legislature, in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of the statutes, concerning a Wisconsin temporary emergency unemployment insurance program by January 31, 2002.
