An Act to amend 940.09 (1) (intro.) of the statutes; relating to: homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and providing a penalty.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
338,1 Section 1 . 940.09 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
940.09 (1) (intro.)  Any person who does any of the following is guilty of a Class C B felony:
338,2 Section 2 . Initial applicability.
(1) This act applies to offenses committed on or after the effective date of this subsection.
