1997 WISCONSIN ACT 212
An Act to create 16.72 (8) of the statutes; relating to: stationery utilized by state agencies for outside correspondence.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
212,1 Section 1 . 16.72 (8) of the statutes is created to read:
16.72 (8) The department shall ensure that every agency includes on all stationery utilized by the agency for correspondence outside the agency at least one telephone number where the agency may be contacted, at least one facsimile transmission number for the agency, if the agency has such a number, and at least one electronic mail address for the agency, if the agency has such an address.
212,2 Section 2 . Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) Notwithstanding section 16.72 (8) of the statutes, as created by this act, an agency which, on the effective date of this subsection, has in its possession or has committed to purchase stationery which does not comply with section 16.72 (8) of the statutes, as created by this act, may continue to utilize that stationery until its supply is exhausted.
