1995 WISCONSIN ACT 310
An Act to amend 950.07; and to create 950.02 (4m) of the statutes; relating to: intergovernmental cooperation in providing services to crime victims and witnesses.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
310,1 Section 1 . 950.02 (4m) of the statutes is created to read:
950.02 (4m) “Victim and witness office" means an organization or program that provides services for which the county receives reimbursement under this chapter.
310,2 Section 2 . 950.07 of the statutes is amended to read:
950.07 Intergovernmental cooperation. The county board, district attorney, local law enforcement agencies, local social service agencies, victim and witness offices and courts shall all cooperate with each other to ensure that victims and witnesses of crimes receive the rights and services to which they are entitled under this chapter.
